The Information Communications Technology (ICT) category has four key subcategory areas: Hardware, Software, Communications and Services
The ICT strategy takes into consideration the ICT requirements covered by the Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme (ESMCP). The ICT category excludes ICT consultancy and training unless as part of ICT solutions as these areas are covered by the Professional Services category, Telemetry is covered in the Fleet category and Thermal Imagery, and Body Cameras, are covered by the Operational Equipment category.

The procurement hub is committed to assisting the sector with developing outcomes-based requirements.
Supplier sessions aim to provide guidance and advice on how to ensure CAD/ICCS requirements are developed in such a way as to encourage innovative and competitive responses from a limited supply market.
Work continues with BlueLight Commercial, the Home Office and the National Fire Chiefs Council to onboard the initial pilot Fire & Rescue Service (FRS) to the National MAIT Contract which has been awarded to AVR Group Ltd.
The Single Supplier Framework is operational for four years however the individual FRS Call-Off Contracts can be established for a minimum of four years and a maximum of eight years. Should you have any queries regarding this contract please contact firehub@bluelight.police.uk
A roll-out programme is in development and will be issued to the FRS’s for consultation by the Home Office and the NFCC.
Each FRS has appointed a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) within service to liaise with the MAIT project team, disseminate any updates and act as a conduit for information. As such, please do contact your SPOC to obtain any further information.
