For the supply and fitment of mobile CCTV equipment in police vehicles
Using a BlueLight Commercial framework is a ready-made solution, saving both time and money as we have already carried out due diligence and supplier negotiation. This means customers get best value through our centralised buying power and can be reassured all suppliers, and products, will comply with required legislative and technical standards. Rigorous operational testing has been carried out to enable customers to buy with confidence.
We maintain the strategic relationships with suppliers, whilst the customer maintains control of operational contract management. We will oversee the implementation and onboarding of the contract, act as a single point of contact and provide an escalation route for any performance issues.
We work with members to transform commercial procurement, resulting in a bottom line improvement to cost and time savings, and delivering a more sustainable future. Click here for information.
A single supplier framework covering the supply, and if/when required, the fitment of mobile CCTV equipment in a variety of police vehicles.
The supplier will ensure that the design, specification and installation of all CCTV systems, together with all ancillary equipment, fixtures and fittings provided for that purpose are fit for purpose and are; effective; produce high quality evidential video & audio footage; easy to use; reliable and durable; easy to maintain, when required; and offer value for money throughout the ownership/contract period and are “future proofed”.
All work and equipment supplied will meet with the relevant UK & EU legislation and codes of practice which exist at the time. Certificates of conformity will be provided by the supplier for all equipment, electronics and electrical equipment where required.
The supplier shall deliver comprehensive training and instructions as and when required, not limited to initial training but also as and when systems are upgraded or changed. Operating instructions will be supplied for the complete system supplied/fitted. Manufacturers operating instructions and warranty details will be supplied for each item of equipment supplied or installed.
Schematic diagrams and fault diagnosis information will be supplied for the complete installation.
The supplier ensures that their equipment/fittings do not affect the driver’s control of the vehicle in any way, either by direct obstruction or by electrical interference.
Where a framework participant takes the decision to fit the equipment in-house then on-site training and advice will be given as and when required.
As part of the overall requirement framework participants may require the supplier to provide a selection of kit parts as consignment (impress) stock; to be paid for as and when used. The selection of parts to be specified by the user.
