We maintain the strategic relationships with suppliers, whilst the customer maintains control of operational contract management. We will oversee the implementation and onboarding of the contract, act as a single point of contact and provide an escalation route for any performance issues.

Scope of contract

To facilitate the purchase of replacement vehicles with ballistic protection, for use within conventional firearms operations including potential siege situations and also to equip forces with vehicles with increased armed capacity and capability to respond to incidents including Marauding Terrorist Firearms Attack (MTFA). 

The specification of replacement vehicles needs to consider the changing heightened security environment and requirements, and enable operational departments in all UK police forces to purchase similar vehicles.

Pricing, along with specific contract information, is available by accessing the Blue Light Community Forum & Resources. If you need access to this system email us with your registration request.

Our framework has a discount structure for each requirement commissioned.  Any savings will be determined at the point each vehicle is commissioned. The mechanism for this is in the pricing document. Forces may request bespoke requirements for their build and should therefore approach the supplier for a quotation which is then forwarded to BlueLight Commercial.
