Identity and Access Management MOU
Using a BlueLight Commercial framework is a ready-made solution, saving both time and money as we have already carried out due diligence and supplier negotiation. This means customers get best value through our centralised buying power and can be reassured all suppliers, and products, will comply with required legislative and technical standards. Rigorous operational testing has been carried out to enable customers to buy with confidence.
We maintain the strategic relationships with suppliers, whilst the customer maintains control of operational contract management. We will oversee the implementation and onboarding of the contract, act as a single point of contact and provide an escalation route for any performance issues.
Scope of contract
This Contract is a Memorandum of Understanding between SailPoint, Softcat and UK Policing to enable the procurement of the SailPoint Identity Now SaaS platform for Identity Governance which meets the National Enabling Programme’s (NEP) Identity and Access Management blueprint. The solution supports the administration of role-based access control to policing systems.
This MoU includes professional services to assist in maximising force investment in IdentityNow and to assist forces with remaining in alignment with national design. The latest version of the MoU (2.2) includes an additional add-on licence options for access to eLearning and IdentityNow Business Suite.
While the NEP programme closed in March 2022, ongoing design updates will continue to be provided by Police Digital Service (PDS) and the MoU will be updated as required to align with any design changes.
