Microsoft MOU

Using a BlueLight Commercial memorandum of understanding is a ready-made solution, saving both time and money as we have already carried out due diligence and supplier negotiation. This means customers get best value through our centralised buying power and can be reassured all suppliers, and products, will comply with required legislative and technical standards. Rigorous operational testing has been carried out to enable customers to buy with confidence.

We maintain the strategic relationships with suppliers, whilst the customer maintains control of operational contract management. We will oversee the implementation and onboarding of the contract, act as a single point of contact and provide an escalation route for any performance issues.

Scope of contract

This memorandum of understanding (MoU) allows all eligible public sector customers to benefit from a baseline of Microsoft pricing and discounts. This MoU was negotiated between Crown Commercial Service and Microsoft to allow organisations to achieve better value for money.

Organisations can take advantage of discounted pricing across Microsoft / Office 365 products, PowerApps, Dynamics 365 (Finance, HR, Customer Service and Field Service) and licensing for on-premise servers and CALs.

The existing Digital Transformation Arrangement 21 (DTA21) is currently being re-negotiated by Crown Commercial Services.

Contracting Authorities can run their own competitions through available frameworks, or they can register to join an upcoming aggregation via Crown Commercial Services CCS crowncommercial.gov.uk
