Rachel Britt

Rachel has over 20 years’ experience in the public sector, having held senior commissioning and procurement roles with large Local Authorities throughout her career. Starting in housing services, she quickly found her passion was working collaboratively to transform and continually improve systems and services to ensure they deliver better outcomes. She has led work to procure and contract manage a number of services including supported housing, drug and alcohol services both within the community and prisons, and a wide-ranging portfolio of children’s services.

Outside of work Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and working out in the gym.

 

 

Charlotte Daynes

Charlotte has over 17 years’ public sector procurement experience both at a local, regional and national level. Before joining BlueLight Commercial in 2020, she was the procurement lead for the National Police Air Service dealing with all manner of requirements including the purchase of airplanes and upgrade of police mission equipment in the fleet of police helicopters.

Currently she is leading on the National E-procurement platform project, Contingent Labour and Insurance.

 

Outside of work Charlotte enjoys weekends away, going to the cinema and any opportunity to eat a meal she didn’t have to cook.

Leigh Robinson

Leigh has over twenty years’ experience in Public Sector Procurement covering a wide range of categories such as Soft FM, Laboratory Supplies and Equipment and Professional Services.  Leigh became a  Category Manager for Professional Services within Higher Education  leading and managing  a variety of contracts within Financial, People , Student and Business Services.  Leigh is fully MCIPS qualified.

Leigh joined BlueLight Commercial in April 2024 and is currently working on the National E-commercial project.

In her spare time Leigh enjoys Zumba and Clubbercise classes, swimming, reading, going to the theatre and fostering hedgehogs.

Rachel Elwood

Rachel has 14 years procurement experience in the Public Sector. Before joining BlueLight Commercial in 2020, Rachel worked for South Yorkshire Police within the National Fleet Category. Currently working within People and Professional Services Pillar, Rachel is leading on Selected Medical Practitioners (SMP) and Pensions and has experience working on Insurance, Salary Sacrifice, Consultancy, Learning and Development and Travel Management. Rachel holds CIPS Level 5 and is working towards her MCIPS qualification.

Outside of work Rachel enjoys socialising with friends and family and going on nice holidays.

 

Sarah Ashwin

Sarah has over 10 years’ experience in procurement with 7 of those in public sector. Sarah worked in Higher Education prior to BlueLight Commercial managing a range of Professional Services contracts; Pensions, Contingent Labour and a number of Marketing and Communications contracts. Sarah holds CIPS Level 4 and a BA(hons) in Applied Business and Marketing Management.

Sarah joined BlueLight Commercial in 2023 and is currently working on Insurance and Pension Services. 

Outside of work Sarah enjoys exercise and family days out.

Mirheta Huremovic

Mirheta's public sector career started in her local government authority in 2019, managing contracts and dynamic purchase systems covering a range of goods and services including Building Materials, Food, Drink and Equipment, Consultancy and Winter Weather Bureau, before joining BlueLight Commercial in January 2023. Mirheta currently works within People and Professional Services Pillar, completing internal contracts such as Audit, Corporate Events Management and Data Protection Officer and nationally managing Pensions. Having recently implemented National Frameworks for PCER and SMP Services, Mirheta is now working with forces to contract manage call offs.

Mirheta holds a BA (Hons) in International Business Management and is Level 4 CIPS qualified.

Mirheta enjoys baking, gardening and travelling.
