Our commercial team supports the National Police Air Service (NPAS) to deliver aviation to operational policing across England and Wales

We support most of the commercial requirements for an operational aviation fleet consisting of rotary and fixed wing aircraft.

This ranges from the provision of Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) services, onboard critical mission equipment and the supply of aviation fuel through to the ground based requirements of the NPAS bases.

In addition to ensuring the continuation of business as usual solutions, Bluelight Commercial also provides support via strategic projects.

This includes a current fleet replacement programme and a long term initiative which is aimed at investigating the viability of the use of uncrewed aircraft operating under BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) conditions in unsegregated airspace.
