New national framework launched to deliver lockable phone pouches to schools

In collaboration with Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner Dan Price, BlueLight Commercial has launched a bespoke national framework to support the rollout of lockable mobile phone pouches across England and Wales.

Available to Police and Crime Commissioners (PCC), their equivalents and schools, the Framework provides a compliant, streamlined route to procure lockable mobile phone pouches, unlocking bases, and associated support services. 

Designed to simplify purchasing and accelerate adoption, the Framework helps schools create distraction-free learning environments. Around three-quarters of state secondary schools are either using or planning to introduce lockable phone pouches, reflecting growing recognition of their benefits. Schools already using phone pouches report significant improvements in safeguarding incidents, behaviour and academic outcomes.

The multi-supplier open Framework agreement offers flexible routes to market, including both Direct Award and Mini Competition options, enabling contracting authorities to procure solutions quickly and efficiently.
