National Agreement Awarded for Body Worn and In Vehicle Video
Thursday, May 15, 2025
The national agreement has now been awarded for Body Worn and In Vehicle Video, Associated Products and Software.
This framework provides police and fire services with an efficient and robust route to market through a single national procurement giving the flexibility for forces to call-off from either by direct award or further competition across 3 Lots.
Lot 1 Body Worn Video & Associated Products and Software
Lot 2 In Vehicle Video and Associated Products and Software
Lot 3 Body Worn Video and In Vehicle Video Combined Solution
Organisations can either call-off by direct award or via further competition.
By working in collaboration utilising this national framework, it is estimated that up to a maximum 12% could be saved across forces. Giving a maximum saving of £10m across policing, based on total potential spend under the framework.
Opportunities to maximise savings are available through mini competitions for those organisations interested in additional collaboration and aggregation.
BlueLight Commercial can support organisations who are collaborating to call off from the framework to realise the potential additional savings.
There is a maximum call off term of 7 years on this framework, increasing the ability to manage force assets under the framework, ensuring maximum return on investment.
More information on the framework is available in the Contract Information Pack found in the Uniform and Equipment Forum on our Learning Management System.
The framework has been published on In-Tend BLC 00125
Further details about the framework and the awarded suppliers can be found on the Body Worn and In Vehicle Video page.
