National Framework Awarded for Body Armour

The framework and contracts have now been awarded to support police forces with a compliant route to market for both general patrol and firearms armour to the new 2017 Home Office Standards, consisting of two lots:

• Lot 1: General Patrol Armour to standard HO1 and KR1
• Lot 2: Firearms Armour to standard HO2 and KR1 (including Firearms Ballistic Plates to standard HO3 and SG1 plus Special Threat 5.56 x 45 Federal Tactical Bonded Ammunition LE223T3)
