National Framework Update for Covert Management Systems

The latest version of the Covert Management Systems Framework is now live, procured as a competitive flexible procedure under the Procurement Act 2023. This framework has been setup to enable UK police forces and wider public sector bodies who conduct covert operations to buy systems that support them in managing covert operations and associated support, training and maintenance for these systems.

The software on this framework provides the following:

• Undercover and surveillance operations management
• Covert Human Intelligence Source (CHIS) management
• Protected persons management
• Prison intelligence management
• Technical Support Unit (TSU) capabilities
• Communications authority and data acquisition management

This framework has the option to direct award to a supplier on the framework (listed below), or if there are specific requirements a mini competition can be carried out:

• CTRL O
• NEC Software Solutions

Launch Event

BlueLight Commercial will be holding a launch event on Tuesday 14 April (10 - 11:20am) for force and wider public sector procurement and operational colleagues, which will feature demonstrations from each supplier. To attend, please register your interest and a Teams invite will be sent.
