New Framework Published for Selected Medical Practitioner Services

Our People and Professional Services team are pleased to announce that we have advertised the BlueLight Commercial Framework for Selected Medical Practitioner services.

The Policing Vision 2025 sets out the ambition to ensure that every member of the police service should feel confident that their welfare and wellbeing is being supported by their force. Occupational Health and Wellbeing services have an important role in the achievement of this goal. These preventative services support the health and wellbeing of members of the police services throughout their ‘journey’ from the assessment of fitness at recruitment through the lifecycle of their career, including for a small cohort, management of the ill health retirement process.

We are seeking to contract with medical professionals to provide independent medical advice to force Pension Authorities on all matters relating to medical questions. The minimum requirement for practitioners is that they are an Associate of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (AFOM) or EEA equivalent.

The framework is lotted by region, however there is no limit as the number of Lots you can bid for.
