New National Pensions Administration Services Framework
Monday, September 7, 2026
In collaboration with BlueLight Commercial a new procurement framework has been launched by the Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner to help public bodies purchase pension services compliantly.
Available to police forces, fire services and other public sector organisations - including Police and Crime Commissioner offices - the National Pensions Administration Services Framework will provide a streamlined route to market for high-quality specialist pension administration services.
With the changeable landscape of public sector pensions, the framework accommodates statutory and legislative changes and includes robust performance management.
Through the provision of pre-approved suppliers, the framework provides a compliant and swift route to market with fixed pricing until June 2028.
This is underpinned by the wrap-around framework support offered by both the Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner’s office and BlueLight Commercial.
Importantly, the savings generated through the framework are reinvested back into public services and policing nationally, strengthening local delivery and ensuring every pound goes further for the people of Northamptonshire.
Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Danielle Stone said: “By working together nationally with BlueLight Commercial, we are creating opportunities to deliver smarter, more responsive services for the people of Northamptonshire.
“This framework gives us access to trusted, futureproof administration services that support our operational needs, the end users and maximise value for taxpayers.
“It reflects our commitment to innovation, collaboration and putting the public first. Most importantly, it will help us continue delivering the high-quality services our communities expect and deserve.”
Lianne Deeming, Chief Executive Officer, BlueLight Commercial, said: “The launch of the National Pensions Administration Services Framework demonstrates how collaboration across the blue light sector can deliver tangible national benefits.
"Through close partnership working with the Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner's office and extensive engagement with suppliers, this framework reflects the evolving needs of policing, fire and the wider public sector.
"By providing access to specialist expertise through a compliant and efficient procurement route, this helps reduce duplication, increase consistency and realise economies of scale. Combining local insight with national commercial leadership, we are driving innovation, improving outcomes and ensuring maximum value for the taxpayer."
