NFCC Procurement Hub transferred to BlueLight Commercial

In collaboration with the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC), the Procurement Hub Management and central activities have now transitioned to BlueLight Commercial working with the sector Category Leads to form a strong, unified team focused on the operational resources available to front-line services.
The Hub will continue to be developed with information on the NFCC National Fire Commercial Transformation Programme as well as numerous resources for fire procurement and commercial staff across the sector.
The NFCC Procurement Hub enables collaboration between fire and rescue services, promoting national approaches and giving access to a number of fire specific frameworks and resources. Members of the NFCC can also access, where relevant, joint blue light service commercial activity and frameworks. The Hub includes six main areas:
- Fleet
- ICT
- Operational Equipment
- Uniform & PPE
- Professional Services
- FM & Construction
The Hub focuses on the £518m spending per year on goods and services from third party suppliers across fire and rescue services, ensuring essential innovation and quality is delivered in the most commercially viable and sustainable way, protecting the front line.
