National Framework Awarded for the Provision of Police Constable Entry Route Programmes

The procurement for the Police Constable Entry Route Programme (PCER) Framework has now been concluded.

 The framework has four lots awarded:​

• Lot 1 Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (Joint Delivery Model): 20 suppliers.
• Lot 2 Degree Holder Entry Programme (Joint Delivery Model): 17 suppliers.​
• Lot 3 Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (HEI Led Delivery Model): 18 suppliers.​
• Lot 4 Degree Holder Entry Programme (HEI Led Delivery Model): 18 suppliers.​

We are in the process of supporting forces to utilise the new framework and implement the new optimised PCER routes. Any forces with an immediate requirement should contact Rachel Britt.

The efficiencies and savings will be tracked throughout the lifetime of the framework, and we will work with our Higher Education Institutes to share best practice nationally and continually develop both the framework and entry routes into policing.
